Zulu Trade – Knowledge bites

Zulu trade is one of the few competitors that have been active for a while on the market. It has made a name for itself as one of the most reputable brands in the market since it was formed in 2007 by Leon Yohai. Zulu trade is a fantastic trading platform for both investors and traders, but its trading features, fees, and other terms depend on the broker you choose to trade and to connect with Zulu trade.

Regulations & Trustability Review of Zulu trade

Zulu trade is licensed and regulated in several jurisdictions, including the United States, the European Union, and Japan.

Zulu trade is regulated by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) because it is
headquartered in Greece which is an EU member state. In addition to HCMC laws, the Zulu
trade is licensed by the Kanto Financial Bureau (KFB) in Japan, and it is also licensed with
the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in the United States. They also only work with brokers who are properly regulated.

Using Zulu Guard – an account protection feature, you can be guaranteed that your money will be secure with Zulu trade and that there will be a very high level of transparency on their part.

Triple A Experts SA, the parent company of Zulu trade, is a financial services firm with core processes in Greece. Zulu trade offers Negative Balance Protection For traders in Greece who open their trading accounts with HCMC-regulated entities/ Broker Platforms. Deposits of retail traders are insured up to €30,000 per claim.

Review of Accepting Countries of Zulu trade

There are no Accepting and Forbidden Countries for Zulu Trade. The Broker Platform in which you have the trading account decides whether you can sign up with Zulu Trade or not.

The restrictions are imposed by the broker platforms with whom you open trading accounts to connect with Zulu trade. Before opening an account and connecting it to Zulu trade, you must first ensure that the broker you have chosen has the feature to join with Zulu Trade to avail of their services.

To check whether the Broker Platform allows you to join Zulu Trade, check the Broker’s website. Call the customer care of the broker and ask whether you can connect to Zulu Trade.

If you are a beginner in trading and don’t have a trading account. You can contact Zulu Trade customer care and they will guide you on which Broker platform you can choose to open your new trading account. So, using that trading account you can easily connect with Zulu Trade.

What is meant by Copy trading?

Copy trading is a technique for automating your trading by copying the trades of all other traders. It is frequently used by newcomers who do not yet understand how to trade. It also enables traders to earn an additional consistent income by copying more experienced traders.

How does Zulu trade’s copy trading work?

A Zulu trade account is linked with an investor’s or trader’s MT4 account at a partner brokerage. Traders sign up with Zulu trade, link their accounts, and reveal their trading techniques. After initial setup, Zulu trade runs all the operations automatically.

Traders are ranked by Zulu trade based on performance, behaviour, stability, and outlook. Depending on their investment capital and risk tolerance, investors choose the traders they want to copy.

Trading Platforms available in Zulu trade – A Review

Zulutrade provides trading services on two trading platforms – MT4 & ZuluTrade+. MT4 and, ZuluTrade+ is their own proprietary platform. These trading platforms are available for trading in both the web version and the mobile version.

Trading Platforms that can be used for trading in Zulu Trade:

  •  Zulu trade+ (ZTP)
  • MetaTrader 4 (MT4)

Zulu trade+ (ZTP)

Both Real and Demo Traders in ZTP have access to a full Trading Station user interface with technical charts, indicators, and the option to build trading bots by executing their own Zulu Scripts.

This platform is web-based. It can run EAs continuously without the requirement for a VPS this helps the Traders’ accounts to be protected from connectivity problems.

Zulu trading API

ZTP can be used with the Zulu Trading API. Zulu trade provides its REST API, allowing users to send trading requests directly to their accounts from a custom program.

MetaTrader 4 (MT4)

MT4 is a world-famous trading platform. Your MT4 trading accounts can be easily connected with Zulu Trade, and you can trade easily.

It is possible to connect a Trader account to an external MT4 platform, either real or demo. The Trader account then becomes “read-only” and all trading activity that occurs in the MT4 account is copied over
to the Zulu trade account.

Zulu trade VPS

By using Zulu trade’s own VPS service, traders using MT4 have the option of hosting their trading strategy for free. There is no need to download any software because the MT4 client of your choice will already be installed on your VPS account and can be accessed from any browser.

Zulu Trade Mobile Trading Platform Review

Trading with Zulu trade is only possible through the proprietary platform, which is accessible through web browsers and mobile devices. You can connect your MT4 trading account with Zulu Trade and start using their services on both web and mobile apps.

Both Android and iOS users and tablet users can use the Zulu trade app for free. Zulu trade allows you to trade from any location. You can use it on the MT4 platform or by downloading the user-friendly trading app to your smartphone or tablet.

Types of Accounts available in Zulu trade – A Review

The traders are provided two unique account kinds, which differ primarily in the services they provide.

Zulu Trade Account Types are:

  •  Classic account
  • Profit–Sharing Account

Zulu Trade Classic account

Advanced users are recommended for this account type. Both manual and copy trading are possible with Classic accounts. You must personalize your portfolio settings in addition to creating a Traders’ portfolio (simple and advanced). You have access to advanced capabilities, you can manage your account, modify your trading signals, close trades, lock your trades and lock a Trader.

Zulu Trade Profit-sharing account

All Users, regardless of experience level, are recommended to open this type of account since it allows them to begin trading immediately after choosing which Traders to follow and how much capital protection to use.

There is no need for the experience. It is a straightforward way to trade. Copy trading is only possible in this type of account. Until your account turns a profit, the traders won’t get a share of the money.

Demo Account Review of Zulu trade

It is important to confirm that your broker and trading requirements are compatible with the Zulu trade platform. Because of this, a demo account is provided so you can practice before joining for live trading. A Demo account can be created and signed up without cost in Zulu trade.

You may create up to 10 Demo accounts, and each Demo account has a 15-day rolling expiration policy. Without even linking it to your broker, you can test out a demo of each feature that is offered.

When you are happy with all of that, you can make a deposit with your broker to start using Zulu Trade.
Zulu trade can only be used with a trading account that has at least $100 in it.

Fees & Commissions Review of Zulu trade

Depending on the account type you choose for copy trading, the commissions and fees will vary.

Commissions on Classic accounts

Zulu trade offers these accounts without any costs. Brokers mostly use volume-based compensation plans, and they may have to pay larger spreads or additional brokerage commissions. The Investor does not incur any additional costs when they follow a trader. Zulu trade pays the trader a commission.

Commissions on Profit Sharing Account

Zulu trade charges a $30 subscription fee every month. When an investor chooses to follow a trader, the trader only receives payment for profit sharing when the investor’s account is profitable.

To connect the account with the Zulu trade service, brokers could charge a tiny flat commission. No higher spreads or charges are being charged from the brokerage.

Deposit & Withdrawal Methods Review of Zulu Trade

The minimum deposit, depositing & withdrawal methods, costs, and base currency will vary depending on the broker you choose, but Zulu trade requires you to have at least $100 in the trading account which is linked to Zulu Trade.

If you are an investor, the deposit methods will be determined by your broker. If you are a trader, you can fund your account using the Zulu trade Master Card, bank wire transfers, or PayPal.

Table 5: Fees & Payment methods on Zulu trade
