Our commitment to transparency

TradingCritique operates on a simple principle: readers deserve to know how we make money.

We are a broker review and comparison site. Our reviews, ratings, and rankings are produced independently by our editorial team using our published TC Rating methodology. Our reviews are not influenced by whether a broker pays us a commission.

This page discloses every broker with whom we have a commercial relationship, whether that is an affiliate partnership, a paid content engagement, or both. If you use one of our affiliate links to open an account and fund it, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

TradingCritique earns revenue in two ways: affiliate commissions, and fees for sponsored content. Both are disclosed. Neither affects our TC Rating, our rankings, or our editorial conclusions.

How TradingCritique makes money

TradingCritique is free to use. We do not charge readers for access to reviews, ratings, comparison tools, or educational content.

Our revenue comes from two sources.

Affiliate commissions

When a reader clicks a tracked affiliate link, opens an account with the broker, and funds that account, we may earn a commission from the broker. Commission is paid by the broker, not the reader.

Sponsored content

Brokers and their agencies may commission editorial coverage on TradingCritique. This includes broker reviews, broker overviews, and supporting content. Every sponsored page carries a visible disclosure at the top of the page identifying it as sponsored.

Payment covers the editorial work, research, and publication. Payment does not buy a TC Rating score, a ranking position, inclusion in any “Best Broker” listing, or the removal of unfavourable findings. Where a sponsored review uncovers a regulatory action, a fine, or a weakness, it is published. Our published Libertex review, for example, discloses a 2021 CySEC suspension and fine.

Brokers that do not meet our Tier 1 regulatory standard may commission a broker overview. These pages carry no TC Rating, no recommendation, no affiliate links, and a clear notice about the broker’s regulatory status. Payment does not change that.

What money cannot buy on TradingCritique:

What a broker can pay for

FTC material connection disclosure

In accordance with United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), TradingCritique discloses that we may earn a commission from certain broker links on this site, and that certain content on this site is sponsored by the broker it discusses. Every sponsored page is labelled as such at the top of the page. Where a commercial relationship exists with a broker reviewed or listed on TradingCritique, that relationship is disclosed on this page. This applies to readers accessing TradingCritique from the United States and, by the same standard, to readers in every other region we serve.

How to identify an affiliate link on TradingCritique

Affiliate links on TradingCritique are visible as call-to-action buttons labelled “Visit Broker,” “Open Account,” or similar. Every affiliate link passes through a tracked redirect on our own domain (for example, tradingcritique.com/go/[broker-name]) and carries the nofollow and sponsored HTML attributes required by search engine guidelines.

Plain text links to broker websites within editorial content, or citations to broker websites for source verification, are not affiliate links and do not earn TradingCritique a commission.

Sponsored pages carry a disclosure at the top of the page, above the review content, stating that the page is sponsored and that our rating and editorial conclusions remain independent. Outbound links on sponsored pages carry the sponsored HTML attribute.

Regulation First applies to every commercial relationship

TradingCritique’s editorial principle is Regulation First. We recommend brokers that hold direct authorization from FCA, ASIC, CySEC, or equivalent Tier 1 regulators for the regions our readers come from.

The same standard applies to our commercial relationships. We only approve affiliate partnerships with brokers whose referral flow routes readers to a regulated Tier 1 entity. We have declined affiliate applications from brokers whose referral flow would route retail readers to offshore entities in Seychelles, Mauritius, BVI, Labuan, or similar jurisdictions.

Coverage is not recommendation. We review non-regulated and offshore brokers so that readers searching for them find accurate information rather than promotional material. These pages may be sponsored by the broker. Sponsorship does not change what they contain.

Brokers outside our Tier 1 standard receive: no TC Rating, no affiliate links, no inclusion in any ‘Best Broker’ listing or ranking, and a clear notice of their regulatory status. They are marked ‘Not TC Rated.’ A broker cannot pay to change any of this.

Our commercial relationships

The list below covers every broker with an approved affiliate relationship with TradingCritique as of the update date at the top of this page. Presented alphabetically:

Affiliate Partners

Paid Content Partners

Approved partnerships that are not yet promoted on the site (pending live tracking links) are not listed above. This list is updated when new affiliate relationships are approved or when existing relationships end.

“Brokers may appear on both lists. Appearing on either list does not affect a broker’s TC Rating or ranking position.”

Editorial independence

Our TC Rating is a 50-point scoring methodology across six pillars: Regulation, Trading Costs, Security, Products, Platform, and Support. Scoring is done independently by our Financial Research Analyst team and reviewed by our founder. Commercial relationships do not affect scoring, ranking position, or written editorial content.

Brokers on either commercial list receive no preferential treatment in reviews. Some of the highest-rated brokers on TradingCritique are partners because they score well on regulation and safety. Some of our partners score poorly. Some of the brokers we rate most highly pay us nothing at all. Some of the highest-rated brokers on TradingCritique are affiliate partners because they are strong on our regulation and safety criteria. Some are not affiliate partners.

Brokers rated poorly on our TC Rating system remain rated poorly regardless of any affiliate relationship. If a broker on the approved list scores below TC Validated (38 out of 50), the low rating is published as scored. Read our full methodology for how this separation is enforced.

If a broker that pays us scores below TC Validated (38 out of 50), the low score is published as scored. If a sponsored review uncovers a regulatory fine, a suspension, or a pattern of complaints, it is published. A broker who commissions a review is buying our editorial process, not its outcome. Any broker unwilling to accept that outcome should not commission a review from us.
