CURVE Card Review – An Intro

CURVE offers its users a single Mastercard debit card that can be used to make purchases from any account linked to your CURVE app. This enables users to virtually connect all of their existing credit and debit cards in one place, eliminating the need to carry multiple cards. With CURVE, both your virtual and physical cards work.

More than 500,000 people use it currently in Europe. In December 2015, the company obtained $2 million in seed funding. Through crowdfunding, it obtained more than $7 million in 2019.

    CURVE Card – Knowledge Bites

Shachar Bialick founded CURVE, a fintech business in the UK, in 2015. You can access your CURVE digital wallet to view any cashback you’ve earned. You have the option of having your balance applied automatically or disabling automatic spending to save money on bigger purchases. With the help of its cutting-edge Mobile app, CURVE’s app conveniently combines all of your bank cards into one and offers you clever ways to manage your spending. Your CURVE Blue physical card will be delivered free of charge under the basic free plan. You can view your expenses divided by type of transaction. Additionally, CURVE has a rewards program that offers 1% cash back on purchases made at particular stores using the CURVE card.

Regulations & Trustability Review of CURVE Card

    • Wirecard Card Solutions Ltd, which is accredited by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), offers The CURVE card.
    • For non-wireless purchases and ATM withdrawals, the card is additionally secured with a four-digit pin.
    • Along with protection from Mastercard chargebacks, CURVE cards also offer customer protection on all purchases up to a value of £100,000.
    • Using the app’s Lock Your Card feature, you can instantly stop all future purchases.
    • The app can only be accessed with a four-digit pin, and neither the long number nor the CVV of your bank cards is accessible from within the app.

Extra Features Review of CURVE Card

To give you control over your finances, CURVE offers its users several useful features.

Extra Features available in CURVE Card:

    • Get Rewards
    •  Travel with CURVE
    •  Anti-Embarrassment Mode
    •  Go Back in Time
    •  CURVE Flex
    •  Smart Rules
    •  Loyalty Cards
    •  CURVE Fronted

    Get Rewards

For the first 30 days after activating their card, CURVE allows cardholders to earn cashback equal to 1% of the total purchase amount across all transactions. If you have enough reward points to cover the cost, you can use these points to buy products and services.

    Travel with CURVE

This card will be very helpful to you if you frequently travel or conduct business abroad. The CURVE does not need to be topped up with cash before use, unlike the other currency cards on the market, because it is linked directly to the debit or credit cards of your choice, even from other nations.

    Anti-Embarrassment Mode

It’s possible for your card to be declined as a result of managing multiple accounts and their supporting cards. With their Anti-embarrassment mode, CURVE has overcome this by automatically switching your purchase to a different card should the first one you chose be declined.

    Go Back in Time

You have a 30- to 120-day window to change your payment card if you forget to do so before purchasing the app (depending on the card). Instead of making a claim, you can simply transfer the expense to your business bank account.

    CURVE Flex

You can borrow money for purchases you’ve already made using CURVE Flex. You can select a transaction and then divide it into 3, 6, or 12 monthly installments. Each month, those payments will be deducted from a chosen card to pay back the loan. They will be aware in advance of the exact cost of your Flex tariff and the amount you will be required to pay each month. Despite the representative APR being 14.18%, CURVE claims that interest rates start at 9%.

    Smart Rules

This is a completely new feature. Based on different factors like the size or type of the transaction, you can set rules for how much you can spend on particular cards. With the free CURVE, you receive one Smart Rule; with x, you receive five; and with Black and Metal, you receive unlimited rules.

    Loyalty Cards

Your rewards credit card can be linked to your CURVE card so you can use both at any time. On the main dashboard, choose the loyalty tap to accomplish this.

    CURVE Fronted

Whereas merchants do not accept credit cards, CURVE Fronted enables you to make purchases with your CURVE debit card by taking funds from an underlying credit card. For each transaction you make using CURVE Fronted, a 1.5% fee is charged unless you have a Metal Card.

Steps for Creating a CURVE Account

You can access the CURVE virtual card in 5 minutes after opening an account with the CURVE, and you can access the physical card in 5 days.

Simply follow these simple instructions to open an account with CURVE:
Get the app from Google Play or the App Store.
Please enter your phone number and email address.
Enter your personal information, including your address.
Choose the CURVE card of your choice.
Use your phone’s camera to scan any bank cards you want to add, or manually type in the information.
Add your virtual card to Google Play or Apple Wallet.
Note: Each card will have a small amount deducted for verification.

    Review on Plans of CURVE

By enabling users to link all of their payment cards to one location, the CURVE card differentiates itself from all of its rivals.
